Attending your appointment​

• You must be over the age of 18 to get a tattoo at Sunloft studio. 

• I am happy to accommodate friend bookings. If you would like to get a tattoo with a friend please coordinate your availability together. I will ask you to each pay a separate deposit which will come off your appointment costs on the day. 

• The studio is small, so unless you are getting a tattoo with a friend please attend your appointment alone. You are welcome to arrive with a support person but we cannot guarantee there will be space available for them to stay for the duration of your appointment. 

• We accept card payments (you can even use an afterpay card). Please note card payments incur a 1.9% surcharge. Cash is also accepted but change is not kept on the premises. 

•  There is a coffee shop and seats outside the studio entry available. Please enter via this side of the building. There is a side gate on Havelock street open for you to enter via. 

• Please attend your appointment on time. Late appointments may need to be rescheduled and require a new deposit to be rebooked. If you are running late, please email to provide notice.

Deposits

•  All appointments require an $80 deposit to confirm your session. This cost is taken off the final payment on the day. 

• If you need to reschedule your appointment, you may carry your deposit through to a new session once provided you give sufficient notice. 

• If you require moving your appointment again or you provide under 72 hours notice, your deposit will be forfeited and you will be required to pay a new $80 deposit to secure a new booking time.

• We are always happy to reschedule you, we understand life happens but this cost is required to cover the admin time and lost income. 

• Deposits are non refundable. If you book an appointment, and need to cancel it, unfortunately the deposit cannot be refunded. 

• Custom appointments are given 3 designs for simple concepts and 2 designs for more complicated ideas. If you require more designs, you may be asked to pay an additional fee to cover the additional time required. Designs can take many hours to create, so if you have a clear vision for your project, please be as clear as possible to help your artist create this design.

Touch ups

•  If your tattoo has healed inconsistently, you are welcome to request a touch up. Touch ups are free (up to 1 year post your appointment) and can be done anywhere from 4 weeks healed. Touch ups are typically very quick. 

• Please send a photo of your healed tattoo along with your availability to schedule a touch up. 

• If you need to reschedule your touch up appointment, please provide 48 hours notice. If you reschedule more than once or you are unable to provide sufficient notice, you may be asked to pay a $40 fee to rebook. This cost is to cover the additional admin time required. 

• If you are getting a new tattoo and would like an older tattoo touched up, it is easy to fit this into your new appointment. Please just let the artist know ahead of time so additional time can be allocated. 

• Touch ups are available on weekdays only.

 

* Fine-line tattoos heal grey rather than jet black. This is because less ink is deposited into the skin with thin needles. If you would like your tattoo to heal dark, please let your artist know ahead of time to accomodate.
